Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Hailey Pylkas.

 

Seniors – if you did not vote Friday, please see Mr. Bongard today.  This is your last chance to vote.

There is also a class trip meeting in Mr. Bongard’s room Tuesday at lunch.

 

Sophomore class officers – you have a meeting today during lunch in Mrs. Clous’ room.

 

Social Studies tutoring is scheduled today in Mr. Nederhood’s room.

 

English/Spanish tutoring is scheduled for tomorrow in Ms. Bernier's room after school until 4:00 p.m.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

The first local scholarship for seniors is out.  The Masons offer two scholarships just to Lake City seniors – the Beacon Scholarship and the Floyd Helsel Memorial Scholarship.  See Mrs. Richardson for an application.  Applications are due Friday, November 22.

 

ATHLETICS

 

SENIOR ATHLETES – applications are available for the MHSAA/Farm Bureau Scholar-Athlete Award.  Lake City can submit three girls and three boys.  You must have a gpa of 3.5 and must have earned your varsity letter.  See Ms. Gilson for an application.  All applications are due by Friday, November 22.

 

Football and Cheer athletes:  parents’ night is scheduled for this Friday.  You must register your parents by 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 23.  The registration form is on Ms Gilson’s door.
