Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Andie Hose.

 

SENIORS – Jostens will be here today to take orders for announcements and cap and gown sets.  See them during lunch in the library.  If you need an order packet or have questions see Ms. Gilson.

 

Math tutoring is scheduled for today in Mrs. VanderBrook’s room.

 

SENIORS – there is a senior trip meeting in Mr. Bongard’s room tomorrow at lunch (Friday).  You need to be there.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

Sophomores and juniors – this is the last week to sign up to take the PSAT on Wednesday,

October 16 in the morning.  There is a sign-up sheet in the office.

 

Volunteers are needed to help out at the Lake City Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet.  It will be held on Tuesday, October 15 at the American Legion.  Volunteers will need to be there by 5:45 p.m. and will be done by 7:30 p.m.  You will get a free dinner for helping to clear tables, serve coffee, and clean up.  Sign up in Mrs. Richardson’s office for a community volunteer experience.

 

The Wexford-Missaukee Career Tech Center will be hosting its annual open house on Thursday, October 17, from 5-7 p.m.   Check out the great programs that are offered for our students.

 

ATHLETICS

 

Varsity cross country @ Mesick, dismissal 2:00 p.m., bus departs 2:15 p.m., invite starts at 4:00 p.m.

 

JV volleyball @ Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart, dismissal time 2:30 p.m., bus departs at 2:45 p.m., match starts at 5:00 p.m.

 

JV football @ Beal City, bus departs at 4:15 p.m., game starts at 6:30 p.m.

 

ATHLETES – the Bear Claw Bags will be here this Friday.  You need to make arrangements to take them home with you on Friday – or have someone pick them up.  Go to the auditorium after school to pick up your orders.  If you have questions, see Ms Gilson.
