Sophomores - fundraiser orders, with money, are due Monday, November 4!
There will be no school for students on Friday, November 1due to professional development for staff.
COUNSELOR’S CORNER
The University of Michigan and Northwestern Michigan University will be here Wednesday,
November 6. Sign up in the office during lunch or before or after school.
Seniors – if you are planning on attending CMU, have a 3.7 gpa, and a 27 on your ACT, you could take part in the Centralis and Honors Scholarship Competition on November 16. The deadline to register is Friday, November 8. Go to www.cmich.edu/centralis
Seniors – there will be a senior presentation today on Life After High School, along with pizza and pop for lunch, compliments of Baker College. The presentations will be given 4th and 5th hour, with pizza during lunch hour. All PM CTC students, and Ms. Bernier’s and Mr. Nederhood’s 4th hours, will attend during 4th hour. All AM CTC seniors, and seniors who did not attend 4th hour, will attend 5th hour. If for some reason you can’t attend your scheduled hour, you may attend the other hour, just let your teacher know. See Mrs. Richardson if you have any questions.
ATHLETICS
Varsity volleyball @ Suttons Bay, bus departs at 3:45 p.m., match starts at 6:00 p.m.
SENIOR ATHLETES – applications are available for the MHSAA/Farm Bureau Scholar-Athlete Award. Lake City can submit three girls and three boys. You must have a gpa of 3.5 and must have earned your varsity letter. See Ms. Gilson for an application. All applications are due by Friday, November 22.
