Have you heard of Early College?  It’s a new program offered through CTC, where you can graduate with a high school diploma and receive an Associates college degree upon completing a program at CTC.  Early College is currently only available through the welding, computer, and public safety programs, and open to 2014-15 juniors.  This is a college cost savings on average of $25,000!  If you are interested in learning more about it, there is a student/parent meeting at CTC on Wednesday, March 12 from 6-7:00 p.m.  Contact Mrs. Richardson for more information.

If you will be 18 by this summer, Mitchell State Park in Cadillac has summer job openings.  Applications are available at the park office on M-115 in Cadillac west.  Stop in during business hours to pick up an application.

If you are good with the computer, especially with images and web pages, and are looking for a part-time job 3-4 days per week, 3-4 hours per day, east of Lake City, see Mrs. Richardson for information.

There will be two National College Fairs in Michigan coming up for high school students.  They will be in the Metro Detroit area, Novi, on Monday, March 31 and Tuesday, April 1, and in the west Michigan area, Grand Rapids, on Wednesday, April 2.  Visit www.gotomyncf.com for more information.
