Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Joseph Danielski.

 

Attention all students – the yearbook class has a new app on the app store.  It is called “yearbook snap.”  This app allows students to submit any cool photos by smartphone or tablet.  Whether you are at a sporting event, class meeting, or any other school related activity, this is a great way to see your photos appear in the yearbook.  All you have to do is download the app. Search Lake City High School, and enter in the password.  Our password is “trojans” with no capitals.  Have fun and we hope to see your awesome pictures soon!

 

There is interest in starting a high school vocal club.  If you like to sing and want to learn more about it, this club may be for you.  If you are interested, sign up in the office by Friday, November 14.  You will be notified of the first meeting.

 

Go To Team – ONLY members who have been notified as being part of the team this year – there is a meeting after school this Thursday for 30 minutes to begin planning our events for the school year.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

A representative from Grace Bible College will be here on Thursday, November 6. Ferris State University will be here Monday, November 10.  If you are interested in meeting with a rep please sign up in the office before school, after school, or during lunch.

 

The Mason’s Scholarship application is now available.  They give two scholarships each year ONLY to LCHS Seniors.  See Mrs. Richardson for an application.  Applications are due to Mrs. Richardson by Tuesday, November 25.

 

ATHLETICS

 

 

WINTER ATHLETES – girls basketball begins Monday, November 10.  Boys basketball and wrestling will begin Monday, November 17.  You must have a current physical on file with the athletic department before tryouts/practice.  If you have questions, see Ms. Gilson.

 

A meeting has been scheduled for girls trying out for basketball on Thursday, November 6 from 12:10-12:30 in room 13.
