SOPHOMORES: the Yankee Candle Fundraiser orders are due tomorrow.  Please remember to collect payment with the orders.   

 

Math tutoring is scheduled tomorrow in Mrs. Peterson’s room after school.

 

Mr. Castillo’s AI students will meet in room 12 (the computer lab) today.

 

High school students who eat breakfast – please clean up after yourself.  There was a mess left after breakfast this morning.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

The University of Ohio trade school will be here tomorrow.  Lake Superior State University will be here Friday, November 14.  Please sign up before school, after school, or during lunch to meet with their representative.

 

There is a support group for teens starting at Life Skills in Cadillac today from 5:00–6:00 p.m.  If you would like more information, see Mrs. Richardson.

 

The Mason’s Scholarship application is now available.  They give two scholarships each year ONLY to LCHS Seniors.  See Mrs. Richardson for an application.  Applications are due to Mrs. Richardson by Tuesday, November 25.

 

ATHLETICS

 

CHEER TRYOUTS – are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, November 19 and 20 from

3:30-5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.  You MUST have a current physical on file with the athletic department before try-outs begin.  If you have questions, see Ms. Gilson.

 

JV Football players – see Ms. Gilson at noon today to pick up your service bar.

 

WINTER ATHLETES – Boys basketball and wrestling will begin Monday, November 17.  You must have a current physical on file with the athletic department before tryouts/practice.  If you have questions, see Ms. Gilson.
