STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Wednesday, May 13, 2015

Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Carissa Clous.

Seniors going on the senior trip (and only those seniors) have a meeting in the auditorium today at 3:05 p.m.

SENIORS – we will distribute cap and gown packages today during noon and after school.

You must pay for your cap and gown before we can give it to you.  Don’t forget that TWO

mandatory graduation practices have been scheduled for Thursday and Friday, May 21 and 22 at

9:00 a.m. in the auditorium.  DO NOT BE LATE!

Students are no longer allowed to charge lunch.  You must have cash in hand or money in your account.  If you do not, you will be given an alternate lunch.

The high school is joining with the elementary to raise funds for the American Cancer Society by participating in the Mini Relay for Life.  This event will be held Monday, June 1 during 7th hour.   The Go To Team is sponsoring a 7th hour class competition to see which class can raise the most money based on percentages, not just money totals. Bring in any extra change to fill a jug!  The winning class will join the elementary in walking in the Mini Relay for Life and be treated to ICE CREAM!

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

Seniors – only half of you filled out Decision Day certificates.  They will be laminated and posted in the hall for graduation.  Please stop in Mrs. Richardson’s office ASAP to fill out your certificate with your future plans.

Seniors who have independent study exams to take - you must take them ASAP or it could put you in jeopardy of walking at graduation.  Mrs. Richardson has all of the tests that have arrived.  See her to make arrangements to take yours. You may want to do it ahead of time.

Dual enrolled students – you need to print a copy of your final grades and turn it in to

Mrs. Richardson.

Any sophomore interested in the Early College Program for CNET, Public Safety, Welding, Business Management, or Hospitality next year - paperwork is due to Mrs. Richardson by Friday!
