Seniors – Josten orders must be placed by Friday, October 23. 

 

Algebra tutoring is scheduled in Mrs. VanderBrook’s room today after school. 

 

Sophomore Class - there will be a short class meeting in the library at the beginning of AI on Tuesday.  Please head down to the library after your AI teacher has taken attendance, to learn about your first fundraiser of the year. Thank you.

 

Congratulations to Patrick Rhodes! He is the new owner of the Trojan hat raffled by the junior class. 

 

There is a Go To team meeting in Mrs. Peterson’s room tomorrow morning at 8:45.  We are continuing to prep for our kick-off “be nice” assembly.  Please be there!

 

Freshmen – pay your class dues ASAP to Mrs. Atkins, Mrs. Peterson, or Hannah Laskowski.

 

Seniors - your Yankee Candle orders will be here Thursday or Friday.  Please make arrangements to pick up and deliver them.  If anyone owes you money, please collect at the time of delivery.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER                                                                                                               

 

Seniors – Michigan College Application Week is next week.  Many colleges are waiving the application fees during this time.  The goal is to have every senior fill out at least one application to learn the process.  There will be a drawing for prizes this year and some goodies for participating!  It will be Tuesday and Thursday during English hour.  See Mrs. Richardson if you have any questions.

 

Juniors and Seniors - your form to attend the Career Exploration Day at Baker is due to

Mrs. Richardson by the end of the day!  If you did not get one and would like to go, see

Mrs. Richardson.

 

Current Seniors - applications for two scholarships through the Masons are available in

Mrs. Richardson’s office.  They are typically $500 each. Pick one up asap!  They are due to

Mrs. Richardson by the end of the day on Wednesday, November 11.

 

A representative from Northwestern Michigan College will be in the library at 2:15 p.m. today. Sign-up in the office if you are interested in meeting with them.

 

ATHLETICS

 

Varsity Cross Country Highland Conference at Evart, dismissal time 2:30, bus departs at 2:45, Jamboree starts at 4:30 p.m.

 

JV/Varsity Volleyball at Marion, bus departs at 4:45, matches start at 6:00 p.m.

 

Bear claw trash bag orders and money may be turned in to the office.

 

Attention boys basketball players - the Adidas rep will be here Monday, October 26 during lunch for shoe fitting. Please meet in the auditorium.
