STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Tomorrow the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students will be taking the PSAT 8/9 and the PSAT NMSQT. Juniors will not be attending am CTC, but will be attending pm CTC, if testing is completed.  It is extremely important that you are here and on time on this day. We will begin testing right away.

 

Seniors will NOT be attending school tomorrow.  Seniors should use this day to schedule a college visit, job shadow, meet with a recruiter, research postsecondary training, apply for a job, fill out a college application, or apply for scholarships. The morning and afternoon CTC bus will be running, should any senior want to attend CTC tomorrow.

 

Seniors interested in being part of the Halloween Dance committee - there will be a meeting during lunch on Thursday, October 18, in Ms. Bernier’s room.

 

Yearbooks are still on sale for $40.00, with a minimum deposit of $20.00.  For a list of who to purchase from, look at the wall by the art room.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER                                                                                                               

 

CTC will be having their annual open house on Thursday, October 27, from 5–7 p.m. 

 

The Northwestern Michigan College visit for October 19 has been cancelled, new date to follow.

 

 

ATHLETICS

 

Varsity Cross Country Highland Jamboree at Beal City, dismiss at 2, depart at 2:15, start at 4:30 p.m.

 

There is a JV/Varsity girls basketball meeting Friday, October 21.  Get lunch and go to the auditorium.

 

Student/Athletes - continue to sell those Bear Claw trash bags. Order forms with payment are due on Tuesday, October 25.  Turn them in to the high school office or to Mrs. Vokes in the athletic office.
