Attention Seniors –

Reminder to all NHS members -- The bowl-a-thon is today.  You have to have collected at least 15 dollars in pledges and have your permission slip in to Ms. Bernier in order to go.  Check in with your 4th hour teacher, then go eat lunch.  The CTC bus leaves 11:30ish.

 

The NHS end of the year fiesta is tonight.  It will be at 7:00 in Ms. B's room.  NHS will be providing pizza, beverages, and ice cream.  Remember to bring in sundae toppings.

On Saturday the Lake City Girls Track team took the runner up trophy at the Lake City Invitational.  It was a total team effort with many personal bests on the day.  All of our relays improved best times for the year.  The 3200 relay subtracted 28 seconds from their previous best to run a 11:03.43 With a team of Alex Gatica, Victoria Reed, Kylie Allard, and Rachel Rosekrans.  The 800 relay shaved half a second to run a 1:55.05 with a team of Becky Ahrens, Lacey Hill, Katie Root, and Adri Dodde.  The 400 relay of Aubrey Vanderstow, Kristen Robidoux, Becky Ahrens, and Lacey Hill also posted a best time of 55.92 seconds.  In the 1600 relay the team of Alex Gatica, Kylie Allard, Katie Root, and Adri Dodde removed an incredible 12 seconds off their previous best to finish with 4:23.94.  Other individuals who place in Saturdays meet are : Kim Hanson in the disc, Becky Ahrens, Brandee Gibson, and Hillary Hunt in the pole Vault, Melanie Mazey in the high jump, Katie Root and Tetje Cnossen in the 100 Hurdles, Rachel Rosekrans in the 1600 run, Adri Dodde in the 400 run, Rachel Rosekrans in the 800 run, Katie Root in the 300 hurdles, Adri Dodde and Becky Ahrens in the 200 dash, and Rachel Rosekrans in the 3200 run.  Congratulations ladies from Coach Petrosky.

Attention Seniors – The graduation walking partners sheet has been posted on the counter in the office.  If you do not sign up with a partner, one will be chosen for you.

 

Attention All Students – The end of the year is fast approaching and in order to have all financial issues taken care of by that time no charges will be allowed in the cafeteria after today, May 5th.

 

Mobile Dentist will be here June 3 and 4.  Forms are available in the info pockets outside the office and they are due to Mrs. Holly May 12.

 

The yearbook is in need of pictures of prom.  If you have any pictures that you would like to see in the book, please give them to Larry Stone or Mrs. Atkins.  We will take them off disks or a hard copy, and return them to you as soon as possible.  Thanks.

 

Attentions Students – Courtesy Driving School will be starting class Monday, 5/12 in Lake City.  Class will end 6/2.  Information pamphlets are in the hall by the office.

There are still openings for the Manufacturing Tour.  The date has been changed to Monday, May 12th.  Go and check out some of our local manufacturers and the opportunities that are available at all levels.  See Mrs. Richardson to sign up.

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Track team for a well earned runner up place at the Pine River Invitational on Saturday.  It was a great team effort.  Katie Root took 1st in the 100 hurdles and the 300 hurdles, Adri Dodde placed 2nd in the 400 and 4th in the 200, Rachel Rosekrans took 2nd in the 3200, 4th in the 1600, and 6th in the 800.  The 800 Relay of Becky Ahrens, Lacey Hill, Katie Root, Adri Dodde placed 1st, and The 400 Relay of Brandee Gibson, Kristen Robidoux, Becky Ahrens and Lacie Hill placed 6th.  Awesome job ladies.
