Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Thadd Russell.

Please come and enjoy Mr. Lake City on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in the HS gym.  

Science tutoring is scheduled after school today in Mrs. Thom's room from 3:20-4:00 p.m.

Mr. Lake City contestants need to be at rehearsal tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the gym.  Please bring your escort, swim attire and all that you need for your talent portion of the show, including music if needed.

The following seniors won prizes in the drawing for filling out the FAFSA and showing proof to

Mrs. Richardson.  Only 8 students participated, so odds were pretty good!  Please see

Mrs. Richardson to claim your prize.  The winners were:  Patrick Rhodes - $25 Walmart gift card,

Andrew Fechter - $35 Walmart gift card, and Ciara Richardson - $50 Walmart gift card.  Congratulations and thank you for participating!

 

ATHLETICS

 

The athletic office has wrestling sweatshirts for sale. Quantities are limited and there is no printing on the back. Cost is $25.

 

Baseball JV and Varsity tryouts will begin Monday, March 14 at 5:00 p.m. at the MS gym.

 

JV and Varsity girls basketball awards banquet is Wednesday, March 16 at 6:00 p.m.

 

Golf practice begins Monday, March 14 right after school in the cafeteria.

The NHS Blood Drive is tomorrow in the gym starting at 8:00 a.m.  There are only a few spots left if you want to reserve a time.  See Patrick Rhodes to set up a time to donate.  There will be an NHS student coming to the classrooms tomorrow to call students donating out of class.

Students – our legging policy is still in place and will be enforced.  Students wearing leggings must have a top on that covers past their bottom and equal coverage in the front.    

 

This is the last week to purchase the 2016 yearbook.  The cost is $40 payable to LC Yearbook.  The books will arrive in May.  We will not order any additional books, so order yours today.  You may pay a deposit of $20 to place and order, and pay the balance of $20 when the books arrive.  See

It is time to show off your talent at the Lake City Schools Variety Show.  Students (K-12) and staff are invited to participate.  You can sing, dance, play instruments, tell jokes, do a skit, or showcase another talent you may have. Auditions are March 24 from 3:30-5:30 in the auditorium or by appointment.  Call or see Ms. Porter at the Middle School at 839-7163.  Dress Rehearsal will be Friday, April 15 at 5:30 and Showtime is on Saturday, April 16 at 6:00.
