Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Cassie Drouillard.

 

Seniors - nominations for Senior Oscar Night 2013 are in. Today is the last day to cast your final vote. Stop by Mr. Thom’s room today at lunch or after school and choose which of your classmates deserve these lifelong titles.

 

Senior Oscar Night Performers - there will be a short meeting in Mrs. VanderBrook’s room at lunch.

 

Juniors and Seniors – because of time limitations, prom and after-prom tickets will only be sold through the end of next week. Please plan accordingly to purchase tickets. If this causes a problem see Mr. Bongard to make arrangements.  Deadline for purchasing a ticket is Friday, April 19. 

 

NHSers - if you are interested and able to help with the Special Olympics Spring Games in Cadillac on May 22, please see Ms. Bernier ASAP to sign up and get more information

 

Math tutoring is scheduled for today with Mr. Thom.

 

The freshman class is selling Lake City cinch sacs for $10.  If interested you can purchase them from Mrs. Clous.

Forensics Students – you will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m. today for regionals. Bus departs at 1:30 p.m.

 

Prom tickets will be sold at lunch every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until April 26.  Cost is $30 per person.  Prom will be held at El Dorado.  After-prom will be at The Pines and tickets are $5.

Wal-Mart is having a fundraiser with proceeds going to Children’s Miracle Network.  It is this Saturday, March 30 from 1-3 p.m.  There will be a hot dog cookout and a free throw shooting contest.  Winners in the 10-14 and 15-18 age brackets can each win tickets to the Pistons.  Go check it out and support a good cause!

Juniors - we need two or three people to sell snacks and water at Mr. Lake City on Saturday.  You will   need to be half an hour early to set up.  Please see Mr. Bongard if you can help out.

Today is the first day of practice for spring sports.  You must have a current physical on file with the athletic department.  No physical – no practice.  Softball will practice from 4:30-6:00, track from

6-7:30, and baseball from 4:30-6:00 at the middle school.  Golf will meet in room 26 on Tuesday, March 12 from 3:30-5:00.  If you have questions, see your coach or Ms. Gilson.

ATHLETICS

 

The first day of practice for spring sports is Monday, March 11.  You must have a current

physical on file with the athletic department.  No physical – no practice.  Softball will practice

from 4:30-6:00, track from 6-7:30, and baseball from 4:30-6:00 at the middle school.  Golf

will meet in room 26 on Tuesday, March 12 from 3:30-5:00.  If you have questions, see your

coach or Ms. Gilson.

AFTERNOON CTC STUDENTS – if you do not have a scheduled class during 4th hour, the high school hallway is off limits to you. You must wait in the lobby for the CTC bus.



Math tutoring is scheduled for today with Mrs. VanderBrook.
