Seniors - nominations for Senior Oscar Night 2013 are in. Today is the last day to cast your final vote. Stop by Mr. Thom’s room today at lunch or after school and choose which of your classmates deserve these lifelong titles.

 

Senior Oscar Night Performers - there will be a short meeting in Mrs. VanderBrook’s room at lunch.

 

Juniors and Seniors – because of time limitations, prom and after-prom tickets will only be sold through the end of next week. Please plan accordingly to purchase tickets. If this causes a problem see Mr. Bongard to make arrangements.  Deadline for purchasing a ticket is Friday, April 19.

Prom tickets will be sold at lunch every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until April 26.  Cost is $30 per person.  Prom will be held at El Dorado.  After-prom will be at The Pines and tickets are $5.

Sell, sell!   Tutoring is scheduled for today with Mrs. McNalley in room 13.   Math tutoring is scheduled for Thursday, April 11 with Mr. Thom.   Baker College is offering segment 1 driver education classes beginning Thursday, April 18.  Sign up forms are located outside the office or see Mr. Yeomans at lunch to sign up.   COUNSELOR’S CORNER   “If you have a strong mind and plant in it a firm resolve, you can change your destiny.” ~ Paramahansa Yogananda   Schedule requests for next year are being completed.  If your schedule is not done, see Mrs. Richardson this week.   There is a meeting Thursday, April 11 at 2:45 p.m. in the foods room for any student who is interested in dual enrollment, Teacher Academy, or independent study next year. Wal-Mart is having a fundraiser with proceeds going to Children’s Miracle Network.  It is this Saturday, March 30 from 1-3 p.m.  There will be a hot dog cookout and a free throw shooting contest.  Winners in the 10-14 and 15-18 age brackets can each win tickets to the Pistons.  Go check it out and support a good cause! Juniors - we need two or three people to sell snacks and water at Mr. Lake City on Saturday.  You will   need to be half an hour early to set up.  Please see Mr. Bongard if you can help out.

Spring sports practice begins Monday, March 11. You must have a current physical on file with the athletic department. No physical – no practice. Practice times will be announced later this week.
