Seniors - there are four slots available on the senior trip.  Please get your dues paid if you want to go. There will be a sign up sheet in Mr. Bongard’s room for all students wanting to go on the trip.  Sign up before Christmas break if you are planning on going on the trip so we have accurate numbers.

Sophomores - you need to meet in the lobby tomorrow morning when the bell rings for the CTC tour.  Do not go to your first hour class.  Be sure to wear coats and shoes that are weather appropriate.

You do not need to bring anything with you.  We will be leaving once everyone is on the bus and will return before lunch.

FRESHMEN – your Yankee Candle orders have arrived. Please stop in Ms. Bernier's room at the end of 7th hour this week to pick them up. Most boxes are too big to fit in your locker. Band students need to get theirs today if possible.



The Missaukee County Road Commission requests your cooperation through the winter months while snowplowing is taking place. They ask that students and parents be aware that the plows are on the roads many mornings at the same time buses are picking up students. Students need to make sure they wait a safe distance from the plowed portion of the roadway until the bus actually arrives at their stop. It is important that we work together to make certain of student safety. If you have questions please call Kelly Bekken, Missaukee County Road Commission Manager at 839-4361.

The annual MY LEAD (Michigan Youth Leadership) conference will be holding two sessions for high school sophomores at the end of this school year. There is one in May and one in June.

Registration for dual enrollment through Mid-Michigan Community College for 2nd semester is open. If you are interested in dual enrollment for 2nd semester, see Mrs. Richardson for eligibility requirements and enrollment information.

Boys basketball practice begins Monday, November 18. The ninth and tenth grade from 5-6:30 p.m. and eleventh and twelfth grade from 6:30-8:00 p.m.



If you are interested in going out for winter cheer, you must be at practice today from 4-5:30 p.m. in the band room. Even if you do not have your physical card turned in – be there. Contact Mrs. Vokes if you have questions.





Wrestling practice begins Monday, November 18 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. You must have a physical on file with the athletic department before participating.

Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Corrina Cebulski.

 

Student council members – this is the last day to pay for your shirt!

 

Juniors selling snack boxes for the senior trip – it is important that you meet with Mrs. Colecchio today at 12:15 in Mr. Prelipp’s room. It should only take five minutes.  The names of the students who need to come are posted in the hallway.

 

Freshmen – Yankee Candle orders are due today. Please turn in your order form and payment to Mrs. Phillips, Ms. Bernier or Mrs. Thom.  If you forgot to bring it in today, please be sure to bring it in tomorrow, as orders will be placed at the end of the day on Thursday.

 

Science tutoring has been cancelled for today.  Math tutoring is scheduled for tomorrow in

Mrs. VanderBrook’s room.

 

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

The annual MY LEAD (Michigan Youth Leadership) conference will be holding two sessions for high school sophomores at the end of this school year.  There is one in May and one in June.  

The deadline to register is the end of December.  If you are in 10th grade and interested in attending this life-changing opportunity, see Mrs. Richardson.

 

Michigan Tech University will be here tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. in the library.  Sign up in the office before school, after school, or during lunch.

 

Registration for dual enrollment through Mid-Michigan Community College for 2nd semester is open.  If you are interested in dual enrollment for 2nd semester, see Mrs. Richardson for eligibility requirements and enrollment information.

 

ATHLETICS

 

JV and varsity volleyball players are to meet coach in the library immediately after school today. 

This will take two minutes – so you will not miss your bus.

 

Cheer tryouts have been cancelled for tonight only.  If you are interested in going out for winter cheer, you must be at practice on Thursday (tomorrow) from 4-5:30 p.m. in the band room.  Even if

you do not have your physical card turned in – be there.  Contact Mrs. Vokes if you have questions.
