Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Victoria Black.

 

Prom tickets are on sale this week. Tickets are $27.50 each or $50 for a couple.  If you would like to attend After-Prom, please sign-up on the sheet outside Mr. Prielipp’s window.

 

If your date for prom is not a Lake City High School student, you must register that person in the high school office by 3:30 Friday, April 25. 

 

Senior Oscar Night is tomorrow at 7:00 p.m., but it’s not just for seniors. Come help celebrate four years of greatness as we hand out awards such as Best Looking, Most Athletic, and Most Likely to Get a Useless Degree. Live performances include Joe Liestenfeltz and Laraiah Schichtel, Jacob McDaniel, and Nate & Annie, as well as others. It’s sure to be a memorable night. Three dollars will get you in the door, and remember to dress to impress - it is the Oscars!

 

All students involved with Senior Oscar Night, presenters and performers, need to meet in

Mrs. VanderBrook’s room at 12:10 tomorrow.  All performers need to plan to stay after school tomorrow to rehearse their piece.

 

English tutoring is scheduled today from 3:30-4:00 in Mrs. Phillips’ room (#23).

 

Math tutoring is scheduled for Thursday, April 24 in Mr. Prielipp’s room.

 

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

All juniors will be participating in the Smarter Balanced Assessment Pilot tomorrow and Thursday.  Juniors will not be attending CTC either of those days, it is school excused.

 

Ferris State University will be here at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 24.  Sign up in the office before school, after school, or during lunch.

 

ATHLETICS

Varsity boys baseball and varsity girls softball @ Evart, dismissal time 3:00 p.m., bus departs at

3:15 p.m., games start at 4:30 p.m.

 

JV girls softball vs Evart, home, game starts at 4:30 p.m.

 

Varsity track vs Evart/McBain @ McBain, bus departs at 3:30, meet starts at 4:30 p.m.
