SENIORS – commencement is just around the corner and it’s time to sign up for walking partners.  Sign up by 3:30 p.m. on Monday, May 4 in the high school office before school, after school, or during lunch.  If you do not sign up, a partner will be assigned.  See Ms. Gilson if you have questions.

 

Yearbooks are still on sale!  Cost is $35.00.  You may pay in full or pay a $20.00 deposit.  All money is due by Friday, May 8.  See Mrs. Atkins or Joe Liestenfeltz if you have questions.

 

You are invited to celebrate local talent at the Lake City Variety Show Saturday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.  Cost is $3.00 for students, $5.00 for adults, and $13.00 for families.

 

Senior exam exemption forms will be available in the wall pocket outside the office starting Monday, May 4 and will need to be turned in to the office by 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7.

 

Freshmen vision screening is scheduled at the high school for Wednesday, May 6.

 

Algebra tutoring is scheduled after school today in Mrs. Peterson’s and Mrs. VanderBrook’s rooms.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

If you are a senior wanting to attend the CTC Career Readiness Workshop tomorrow afternoon, please let Mrs. Richardson know right away, even if you don’t have the permission slip signed yet!  Permission slips are due tomorrow morning.

 

Teacher Academy students have a meeting today in Mrs. Richardson’s office at 3:00 p.m.

 

 

ATHLETICS

 

Varsity baseball/softball vs Kalkaska, home, game starts at 4:30 p.m.

 

JV baseball/softball at Kalkaska, dismissal 3:00 p.m., bus departs 3:15 p.m., game starts at 4:30 p.m.

 

Varsity track at Beal City, dismissal at 2:15p.m., bus departs at 2:30 p.m., meet starts at 4:30 p.m.

 

There will be a meeting for all boys interested in playing football next year on Wednesday, May 6 at 11:40 a.m. in the gym.

 

Boys interested or planning on attending Trojan Basketball Night Camp this June, must pick up a registration form from the athletic wall pocket.  All registration forms must be returned by Monday, May 18.  If you have questions, see Coach Besko.
