STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Tuesday, May 26, 2015
Science tutoring is scheduled today after school in Mrs. Clous’ room.
The library will officially close on Friday, May 29, but students will still be able to drop off books until school ends. If you are concerned about your fines, please stop by the library and talk to Mrs. Baron.
COUNSELOR’S CORNER
MAT Squared is a new Michigan initiative that entails students earning a free Associate’s Degree in Mechatronics, getting paid to attend classes at Baker College, receiving paid on-the-job training with a local employer while in school, and working in a high tech job after college. This is the equivalent of a full-ride scholarship and a guaranteed job! An informational session will held tomorrow from
10–11:30 a.m. at Northwest Michigan Works! in Cadillac.
Forms are now available for the Summer Credit Recovery Program. It starts the day after school gets out. If you are in need of making up a class or classes, see Mrs. Richardson for a sign-up form and the schedule.
ATHLETICS
All boys track uniforms need to be washed and turned in to Coach Nederhood this Thursday at the beginning of lunch.
Golf athletes – turn in all golf uniforms and equipment to Mr. Vasicek before the end of the week.
Attention all girls interested in playing volleyball and/or basketball next year - please plan to attend a very important meeting during lunch today regarding the summer schedule at 12:10 in the auditorium.
