Exam exemption forms are available in the wall pocket outside the office and need to be turned in to the office by 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 3.

 

The Go To Team is having a Hats On Day Friday, May 29 to raise extra money for Relay for Life.  Purchase a sticker as you enter the building to wear a hat and support a worthy cause.  The Go To Team will also be collecting money through Thursday afternoon for the elementary Relay for Life event. 

 

The library will officially close on Friday, May 29, but students will still be able to drop off books until school ends. If you are concerned about your fines, please stop by the library and talk to Mrs. Baron.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

 

MAT Squared is a new Michigan initiative that entails students earning a free Associate’s Degree in Mechatronics, getting paid to attend classes at Baker College, receiving paid on-the-job training with a local employer while in school, and working in a high tech job after college.  This is the equivalent of a full-ride scholarship and a guaranteed job!  An informational session will held tomorrow from

10–11:30 a.m. at Northwest Michigan Works! in Cadillac. 

 

Registration forms are now available for the summer Credit Recovery Program.  It starts the day after school gets out.  If you are in need of making up a class or classes, see Mrs. Richardson to sign-up and receive the schedule. 

 

ATHLETICS

 

Students attending Trojan Football Camp need to turn in their registration forms asap!

 

Girls track uniform and warm-up turn-in will be Thursday, May 28.  There will be three different opportunities to meet with Coach Colecchio to turn in your track apparel - 8:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 3:20 p.m.  Please make sure you bring all your track apparel to Coach Colecchio’s room at one of those scheduled times.

 

All boys track uniforms need to be washed and turned in to Coach Nederhood tomorrow at the beginning of lunch.

 

Golf athletes – turn in all golf uniforms and equipment to Mr. Vasicek before the end of the week.
