Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Bridget Denson.

 

Seniors – your baby picture and quote are due by Friday.  Your senior picture, with photo release is due by Friday, December 18.  All items must be given to Mrs. Atkins.  Also, if you plan on going on the senior trip, you need to pay your dues in full by Friday, January 8!  No exceptions. 

 

Remember to recognize a classmate, teammate, friend, teacher, or staff member being kind this week by stopping in the office (teachers’ lounge for staff) and placing a ballot in the Be Nice bucket.  Spread some holiday cheer by treating each other nicely.

 

The sophomore class will be having a popcorn sale over the next few weeks for a Popcorn Day on Thursday, December 17.  Popcorn will be $1 a bag.  If you are interested in having popcorn delivered to you second hour that Thursday, come to the High School library and see Mrs. Baron.

 

Tutoring is scheduled today in Mrs. Thom’s room from 3:20-4:00 p.m.

 

Seniors - remember to sign the 2016 template for the senior t-shirt design in Mr. Bongard’s room.  PLEASE STOP AND SIGN EVEN IF YOU DO NOT PLAN ON GETTING A SHIRT OR HOODIE. 

 

The high school band concert is Monday, December 14 at 7:00 p.m.

 

COUNSELOR’S CORNER                                                                                                                

 

Seniors who were not at the Postsecondary Planning Evening can pick up a copy of the presentation and other material from Mrs. Richardson.  Be sure to also get scholarships from the school website.  The local scholarships are now posted!

 

ATHLETICS

 

JV/Varsity boys basketball vs Mancelona, home, game starts at 6:00 p.m.

 

Basketball and cheer athletic pictures will be taken after school today.  Bring your uniforms.

 

Red Sea reminder - the boys basketball teams host Mancelona tonight and the girls basketball teams host Mancelona tomorrow night. Get there with your Red Sea t-shirts on and support both teams in the student section! You must be wearing your shirt to get into the game for free.

 

There are still Highland Conference volleyball shirts available.  See Mrs. Vokes if you are interested.

 

Winter season passes are available in the athletic office or at any home game. $50 per family, $10 per student
