STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Wednesday, December 09, 2015
Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Bridget Denson.
Seniors – your baby picture and quote are due by next week Friday. Your senior picture, with photo release is due by Friday, December 18. All items must be given to Mrs. Atkins. Also, if you plan on going on the senior trip, you need to pay your dues in full by Friday, January 8! No exceptions.
Any senior planning on going on the senior trip must attend the meeting at lunch today to discuss their own personal fundraising needs. If you are in CTC in the afternoon, please check with your advisors before you leave, or check with Mrs. Clous when you get back from CTC.
This week the Go To Team is sponsoring Be Nice week! If you notice a classmate, teammate, friend, teacher, or staff member going out of their way to be kind to someone else, you have a chance to recognize them. In the office (and in the teachers’ lounge for staff) there will be a Be Nice bucket and ballots. Please stop in to nominate anyone you see being extra nice! Spread some holiday cheer by treating each other nicely. An act of kindness goes a long way for the one being treated kindly, and for the one being kind. There may be fun rewards, too. J
The sophomore class will be having a popcorn sale over the next few weeks for a Popcorn Day on Thursday, December 17. Popcorn will be $1 a bag. If you are interested in having popcorn delivered to you second hour that Thursday, come to the High School library and see Mrs. Baron.
Freshmen – we are doing a 50/50 raffle this Friday at the Girls basketball game. Please see Mrs. Peterson or Mrs. Atkins ASAP if you can help sell tickets.
COUNSELOR’S CORNER
Seniors who were not at the Postsecondary Planning Evening can pick up a copy of the presentation and other material from Mrs. Richardson. Be sure to also get scholarships from the school website. The local scholarships are now posted!
ATHLETICS
Athletic pictures will be taken after school this Thursday for boys basketball and cheer. You will need your uniforms.
There are still Highland Conference volleyball shirts available. See Mrs. Vokes if you are interested.
Winter season passes are available in the athletic office or at any home game. $50 per family, $10 per student
~ Remember – be nice.
