Prom tickets are on sale today. Tickets are $27.50 each or $50 for a couple. 

 

If your date for prom is not a Lake City High School student, you must register that person in the high school office by 3:30 today. 

 

After Prom starts at 12:00.  You must be there NO LATER than 12:30.  If you are not, you will be denied entrance and parents will be called.  We will be collecting car keys when you arrive and will return them after the event.  If you choose to leave before 4:00 a.m. your parents will be notified. 

 

All students going on the Spirit Trip need to have their money and permission slip turned in to

Mrs. VanderBrook by lunch today.

There will be a meeting today at 3:00 p.m. in the foods room for students who signed up, or are interested in Teacher Academy and Dual Enrollment for next fall.  It is very important that students attend this meeting or meet with Mrs. Richardson this week if they cannot attend!

Senior Oscar Night is tomorrow at 7:00 p.m., but it’s not just for seniors. Come help celebrate four years of greatness as we hand out awards such as Best Looking, Most Athletic, and Most Likely to Get a Useless Degree. Live performances include Joe Liestenfeltz and Laraiah Schichtel, Jacob McDaniel, and Nate & Annie, as well as others. It’s sure to be a memorable night. Three dollars will get you in the door, and remember to dress to impress - it is the Oscars!

 

All students involved with Senior Oscar Night, presenters and performers, need to meet in

Mrs. VanderBrook’s room at 12:10 tomorrow.  All performers need to plan to stay after school tomorrow to rehearse their piece.

April 14.  Information and applications may be found in the wall pocket outside the high school office.  If you have any questions call Baker College or contact Mr. Yeomans.

Tickets are $27.50 each or $50 for a couple.  There is no cost for After Prom.  You must sign up today if you plan on attending After Prom.  The sign-up sheet is located on Mr. Prielipp’s window.  If you don’t sign up by the end of the day you will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.

All schedule requests for next year must be in before you leave for break.  The master schedule for next year is determined from these requests!

 

Juniors – many of you still have not turned in your schedule request forms.  Turn them in to

Mrs. Richardson or log in to your PowerSchool account and follow the instructions to enter your requests through “Class Registration.”

 

Students planning to attend CTC next year for the first or second year – you need to fill out a CTC registration form and get it in to Mrs. Richardson before you leave for break.  If you do not have this in, you may not get a spot at CTC.  Blank forms are outside Mrs. Richardson’s office.

 

Any student interested in taking dual enrollment college courses, independent study online courses, or being in Teacher Academy next year needs to pick up a request and information form from

Mrs. Richardson and return it before break.  There will be a meeting after break to go over requirements before the selection.  If you do not notify Mrs. Richardson, you will not be eligible!

All schedule requests for next year must be in before you leave for break.  The master schedule for next year is determined from these requests!

 

Juniors – many of you still have not turned in your schedule request forms.  Turn them in to

Mrs. Richardson or log in to your PowerSchool account and follow the instructions to enter your requests through “Class Registration.”

 

Students planning to attend CTC next year for the first or second year – you need to fill out a CTC registration form and get it in to Mrs. Richardson before you leave for break.  If you do not have this in, you may not get a spot at CTC.  Blank forms are outside Mrs. Richardson’s office.

 

Any student interested in taking dual enrollment college courses, independent study online courses, or being in Teacher Academy next year needs to pick up a request and information form from

Mrs. Richardson and return it before break.  There will be a meeting after break to go over requirements before the selection.  If you do not notify Mrs. Richardson, you will not be eligible!

 

ATHLETICS

Ninth through eleventh grade girls interested in varsity volleyball team camp need to meet in

Mrs. Ardis’ room at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday for a quick meeting.  If you are not be able to make at that time please stop by her room as soon as you arrive for information.

Congratulations to the Student of the Week – Drew Marion.

 

The student council is looking for people to perform for Senior Oscar Night on Wednesday, April 23.  If you would like to perform, sing, dance, or play an instrument see Mr. Thom or Mrs. VanderBrook before Friday.  There are only six spots available!  Auditions will be scheduled if needed.

 

There will be a junior prom committee meeting today in Mr. Prielipp’s room at lunch.

 

Any senior who hasn’t voted for Senior Oscar Night awards, see Mr. Thom today.

 

Seniors - stop in Mr. Bongard’s room this week (before Wednesday) and vote for your speaker.

The Boys Basketball awards banquet is scheduled for today at 6:00 in the cafeteria.  Varsity team brings a main dish.  JV team brings sides and salads.  See Ms. Gilson if you have questions.
